The World as We Know It

This is a man's world, no matter which way we look at it, it will always remain a man's world.

You're alive? then you should either have one of the two M's to survive.

You should either be a Man or you should have Money

but we women are stuck with the only M, Menstruation!, which is also put on us only to continue a Man's lineage.

Of course, men have lots of struggles too, but whatever he has, she always has an extra load of burden which will always remain a mystery to him.

The bias is built into our daily life: Starting from as something basic as Car seatbelts to something vulgar as porn industry, everything is designed for men.

Would you believe if i said that by sexualizing a woman's breasts, it actually resulted in less women receiving CPR during life or death situations than men.

Its ironic that period cramps have been proved to be as painful as heart attacks while female patients with actual cardiovascular diseases are treated with medicines which is heavily based on clinical evidence obtained from Male patients.

A female police officer had to have breast-reduction surgery due to the health effects of wearing her body armour which is designed for men.

A woman is 17% more likely to die, than men in a car crash because guess what? cars are designed for men using male crash-dummies during testing.

Ladies, struggling to see above the dashboard while driving a car? thinking "if only i was taller"..

honey, now you see who's the problem? not you.

A reception job? make a woman stand there draped in a saree.

To receive the chief guest, my college girls were asked to doll-up in sarees and receive them with wide smiles and big flower bouquet but do we have dustbin in our college girls bathroom ? NOPE.

you think women are tiring? Do you wanna dive into a women's mind? :

Is this dress okay? Is my white tops transparent? Does this gym-wear cover my nipples?

Why this man is walking behind me? Should i walk faster? If i smile at someone, will he think im flirting? Why this man is sitting next to me when all the other seats are available? Why is he looking at me like that when im doing the same work-out as him? Why did i forget my pepper spray and  pocket knife?

oh no, my mood swings are kicking in, its better to just shut up for the next 2 weeks. (which we absolutely can't).

Seamless panties, padded bras, wired bras, non-wired bras, sports bras, pads, tampons, cups, heat-pad for cramps, no proper pad disposal systems, getting eyebrows done, waxing, skincare, haircare....All these extra expenses but cry when asked for "equal pay".

Padded bras and push up bras that highlights a woman's breasts are invented by a man. I'd like to believe that he was just thinking artistically and wanted to boost confidence but years of watching men sexualizing the breasts, id consider myself naive if i let myself believe that even for a second.

All the gender biased inventions around the world and we get padded bras invented for us, lucky, ain't we?

Every cuss word, in every language is something related to "being a woman", i mean just WHY?!

Everytime you use a swear word that has got something to do with a woman, you are just insulting us for existing. "we don't even mean it, we just use it out of habit" well get a new habit, like idk "respect?"

Any man who puts down women to make himself seem cooler, lacks testosterone in my opinion.

Every man who respects a woman, you're missing a crown, prince.

Im sure we girls have been tired of hearing this one sentence "why did you let him?".  Its never "why did he do that?"

yes, i agree 100 percent with " NOT ALL MEN" (being the predator) , but it is sadly, truthfully and unavoidably "EVERY SINGLE WOMEN" (who has stories of being the prey).

Literally, every woman you know, you love, you respect would have been a prey to either a hand, or an eye or a comment.

Personally, i am blessed to have come across some real Men who is genuine, concerned and understanding

but they themselves can not vicariously understand what its like to be in a woman's mind and body.

She is on her periods or going to get her periods? you cannot help her physically (although id love if we can just bluetooth our cramps to our friends or boyfriends *evil smile*) but you can help her mentally.

To my dear men out there, who actually want to make a difference, ask yourselves this question "What do you do in your daily life that makes women around you comfortable?"

you think women are crazy ? Try living in a world which is just not built or meant for you on a daily basis and meet me when that hasn't driven you crazy.

You get life advantages and we get padded bras, you want to talk about crazy?

And to men, who reads this and thinks "well yeah we got a lot on our plate too"

Of course sweetie, being a man is not a piece of cake either but being a woman takes a toll on us physically, mentally, emotionally, not even for our own benefit , instead for yours.

I've been told this line once by my female teacher, " A saree falls on a thorn, or thorn falls on a saree, its the saree that gets ripped "

well, i'd like to think and ask all the thorns to not hurt the saree, instead rip whatever or whomever that hurts the saree,

i mean, isn't that what mutually beneficial adaptation is?

    Hey This is Jagadeesh
Just read the whole blog of yours it’s simply magnificent..

This blog is not just about identifying problems; it’s about inspiring change. It empowers girls to recognize their worth, assert their boundaries, and challenge the forces that undermine their confidence. At the same time, it calls on men to reflect on their behavior and become allies in fostering a more equitable and respectful society.

I am eagerly looking forward to seeing your work continues to inspire and create positive change.

Keep shining and sharing you light

  3. Hey Bhavishya!!

That was an awesome read. Without justifying, I want to call this article "a slipper shot to the male dominators". That statement, NOT ALL MEN ARE PREDATORS BUT ALL WOMEN ARE PREY was really mind blowing. But we also know, that out there a few men are being different, and let's just hope those few men will be the "ALL MEN" we have.

Anyways, that was awesome, and keep writing!! And I believe you can make a difference.
